Today, let's talk about what to do when you are not inspired when you are not motivated. But you do still want to keep moving forward. Now, if you are listening to this podcast in real time, you may have noticed that I haven't posted a new episode in two whole weeks. And what happened was, I went on vacation the first week, which was awesome. And that's the beauty of being your own boss, you know, I'm on vacation, I'm not recording any episodes. And then the second week, I just straight up was not motivated. Now, in the past, I have definitely pushed myself to create things when I'm not motivated. And it absolutely comes through the root of the word inspiration is in spirit. And when you're in spirit, it has a synergistic quality that's just awesome and amazing and really shines. And when you're not, that comes through as well. So I like to honor my intuitive sense of when I am in, in spirit, and create when I'm in spirit and not create during my say, reflective or, you know, time that I need to re energize or whatever. But again, back to the habit, I don't want to then let it become a habit and not create, right. So what to do? Well, you need to create something to bridge that gap. And I like the word create because it it takes action, right? You got to sit down and think about what your options are. And To this end, I absolutely love asking yourself questions. What can I do to start in my case for the podcast, getting back into spirit? And I thought about when do I feel the best? When do I bring my very best content forward, you know, with absolute passion, when I'm really going deep on a topic, and I'm really feeling it right. So how can I get that feeling I asked myself, and I can write about it. I love to journal. So I just started journaling through ideas. And when I do this, I kind of can't write fast enough sometimes for how excited I get about going down different paths or exploring ideas or talking about things in certain ways. And it didn't take long to really, really get back in the spirit, right? And actually then even though I don't normally record on the days that I'm recording this, I was like I've got to do this now. I'm so feeling this. I'm so excited. Basically, if you're not inspired, if you're not motivated, ask yourself questions. What could I possibly do to get myself inspired to get myself motivated? I personally find that journaling in any way will really help to tap into that and to get you into your own sense of being in spirit right and inspired. So go ahead and have fun with it, explore it, will it work for you. The only way you'll know is if you give it a try. And that's all for today I will talk to you in the next episode.
